Club Fox welcomes Spangalang featuring Tony Lindsay, saxophonist Eddie Mininfield from Sheila E's band, and Fred Ross from Cold Blood!

After 20 years as the lead vocalist for Santana, Tony Lindsay has garnered 11 Grammy awards, traveled on several world tours and recorded on seven CDs: Milagro (1992), Supernatural (1999), Shaman (2002), Ceremony (2003) and Food for Thought (2004), Ultimate Santana (2007) and Multi-Dimensional Warrior (2008). Their current tour involves Santana's First Rock Residency: an exclusive two-year deal for 36 shows with AEG at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel and Casino's concert hall "The Joint," which began May 27, 2009. When not on tour with Santana, Lindsay performs at various local venues and festivals. Tony currently released his fourth Solo CD "Something Beautiful."

Saxophonist Eddie Mininfield has recorded and performed with Prince & the Revolution, Sheila E, Jill Jones, Beyoncé, Paula Abdul, Stevie Nicks and many others. In addition to his studio work, Eddie M has toured with Yolanda Adams, Wayman Tisdale, and more recently, Acoustic Alchemy.

A native of San Francisco, Fred Ross has been singing professionally since the age of 16. Some of his vocal accomplishments include: The Martin Luther King Story (made for TV), The Stuart Little Movie, TV and radio ads for BMW, Dole, and several dot-com companies. Fred has sung the National Anthem for the Associated Press, the Presidio Memorial Day Celebration (yearly), the Golden State Warriors, San Francisco 49’ers, and San Francisco Giants.

For fourteen years, The Fred Ross Project could be heard regularly at The Starlight Room at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco, as well as throughout the Bay Area. This band is composed of members from other Bay Area notable bands such as Boz Scaggs, Cold Blood, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Santana, & Tony, Toni, Tone.

Fred toured the U.S. and Europe for thirteen Years with legends of Funk Pee Wee Ellis, Fred Wesley, & Maceo Parker (formerly of the James Brown Band). Fred also recorded with Aretha Franklin, whose CD “A Rose is still A Rose" went gold. Michael Walden, members of Tower of Power, Santana, Frankie Beverley & Maze, Greg Rollie, Toto, Chaka Kahn and the Commodore’s are just some of the talents he has worked with.

Fred is now a regular member of Lydia Pense and Cold Blood, having appeared with them from 2017 through today.
