“The Sun Kings are the best Beatles band I’ve ever heard, and that includes the original Beatlemania cast, circa 1977.” -Scott Lettieri, KGO Radio San Francisco

“The only band that could come that close to doing Beatles music would be The Beatles!”
-Richard Freedman -Vacaville Media News

The Sun Kings are not a traditional Beatles tribute band. Every member of the band is a veteran musician who loves recreating The Beatles’ music exactly as we all remember it. Their performance of is unique among the many theatrical tributes that exist today, foregoing the costumes and caricature but delivering the most energetic, note for note instrumental and vocal performances of The Beatles music you will ever hear.

Bret von Lindenberg
Bret von Lindenberg performed in film, television and theater for many years before turning to the music stage. Although he has fronted a classic rock band, he is a singer-songwriter who loves to play acoustically. His latest CD, titled, “Break Free,” highlights his soothing voice and thought-provoking lyrics. Bret blends genres of music on this record because he believes that playing only one style is too limiting. Each song takes the listener on a different path of self-awareness, while touching upon different styles - from a country feel to a taste of rock and roll.

The first song on his album, “Break Free,” is about letting go of the indoctrination of society, which tells us who we should love, what we should buy, and who we should be, instead of allowing us to be who we really truly are. It will be an experience worth remembering.
