ANNIKA CHAMBERS
ANNIKA CHAMBERS
The beautiful and talented Annika Chambers hails from Houston, Texas. As a child, she always wanted to sing, but her dreams of enlisting in the Army and attaining a degree in radio and TV broadcasting took her on a slight detour.Since completing her 7 1/2 year term with the US Army, Annika has blazed the Houston blues music scene. With her self-motivated career taking the city by storm, Annika has had the opportunity to work with many of the well-known talents in the area such as Brad Absher, Paul Ramirez, The Mighty Orq, and many others. In the fall of 2012, Annika along with The House Rules Band entered the International Blues Competition. Although they did not proceed past the final round, she has had numerous opportunities to showcase her talent. After the city-wide competition, Annika took advantage of an opportunity to create a demo CD with Larry Fulcher of the Phantom Blues Band and Richard Cagle, both of whom were judges for the IBC Competition.
To everyone's surprise, this has turned into what will be a professionally produced album from Montrose Studios. The album "Making My Mark" features numerous Grammy award winning musicians and artist who graciously offered their time and patience to make this a project a success. With the album still in the works, Annika has gained a large amount of publicity, allowing her to host a listening party with most of the musicians from the album prior to the album release for purchase. There is no preparation the world can take for the debut of Annika Chambers' "Making My Mark." So take a moment and enjoy the Annika Chambers experience and make sure you do what she says when she says

Igor Prado
Igor Prado
Igor Prado gained interest in the guitar at age 11 and immediately fell in love with the language of the blues. 16 years playing in bars and festivals with a few restrictions because of his young age, Igor developed a slightly different style of play. This self-taught lefty turned a right-handed guitar upside down and plays with the strings reversed.

Deepened in the language of traditional Blues and West Coast Swing, a style that mixes the Blues with elements of Swing & Jazz of the forties and fifties.

The Igor Prado Band formed his band with his brother Yuri Prado on drums, Rodrigo Mantovani on electric/acoustic bass and Denilson Martins on Baritone Saxophone.

Igor Prado has toured with several renowned American artists like Steve Guyger, RJ Mischo, Mark Hummel, Rick Estrin (Little Charlie & Nightcats), Lynwood Slim, JJ Jackson, James Wheeler, Phil Guy (brother of the legendary Buddy Guy) Mud Morganfield (son of the legendary Muddy Waters), Bob Stroger (bassist of Muddy Waters), Omar Coleman, Curtis Salgado, Sugaray Rayford, Tia Carroll, Junior Watson, Sax Gordon and many others…

In 2007 Igor achieved an unprecedented feat for a Brazilian artist, and was nominated by the Canadian magazine “Real Blues” and the British “Blues Matters” as the only South American on the list of best albums of 2007 along with several renowned artists from the American scene.

In 2009/10 participated in one of the biggest festivals in the U.S., The Doheny Blues Festival alongside artists like The Black Crows, Crosby, Still & Nash, Kim Wilson, Robert Cray, Taj Mahal among others.

In 2010 in partnership with the singer and harmonica player Californian Lynwood Slim, Igor Prado signed with the larger U.S. West Coast Blues label, Delta Groove, with the album titled “Brazilian Kicks”.

In 2012 Igor Prado launched the ambitious “Blues & Soul Sessions” (CD & DVD) which featured artists such as Curtis Salgado, Tia Carroll, JJ Jackson, Sax Gordon, Greg Wilson, Donny Nichilo among others in a real tribute to the Blues & Soul of Music of the 60′s & 70′s.

All recorded live on analog tapes; the album had a big impact on critics despite only having been released in South America. This powerful CD was voted album of the year by the American website “Blues Junction” and was nominated in the “Bravo Section” by Blues Revue Magazine (USA) alongside Ben Harper, Charlie Musselwhite & Gary Clark Jr.
